2023 Honda HRV Models, Redesign, Release Date – On the other hand, Honda’s HRV subcompact crossover was the first industry. The 2023 Honda HRV saw a frenzy of modifications as it began to show its age. The new Sport edition has a sportier look and feel, but it also provides an extra layer of security. The most recent enhancements to HRV have allowed it to maintain its apex on my list.
2023 Honda HRV Exterior
The Honda Accord’s many trims, including sport models, have received a slew of new features. With each new model, I find Honda’s decisions increasingly difficult to justify, yet the final result is one that I love. Even a car of this size looks great in orange with black lower body trim and rims.
This is still a fantastic place to spend time, even though the décor hasn’t changed much. My favorite feature of the Honda HRV Sport 2023 model is the contrast stitching on the black headliner and fabric seats. Because of my height, I could fit comfortably in the backseat of this vehicle. Hondas’ available split-folding second-row seats are a significant selling point. The second row of seats may be folded flat to maximize space, but the all-wheel-drive option reduces baggage capacity.
This vehicle’s cabin is more significant than its competitors in the rear seats. Only the Kia Soul has a roomier trunk than the Honda HR-V. A 5-inch touchscreen is standard on the LX, while a 7-inch touchscreen is available on all higher models.
Regardless of how many new features and trims are added in 2023, the HRV’s powertrain will remain unchanged. Normal aspiration continues to power the 1.8-liter, four-cylinder engine. The HRV’s forward motion can only be described as “better than sluggish” due to the increased weight of the all-wheel-drive system, and the HRV’s power output is almost useless.
This vehicle’s automatic transmission and CVT make it inapplicable for sporty driving. Honda’s 1.5-liter turbo I4 would be a superior engine option for this car over Hyundai’s turbocharged engine with 175 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. The Kona and my 2023 HRV tester have an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 26 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway (31 mpg vs. 29, respectively).
Despite having a lot of power, the 2022 Honda HR-V has somebody roll issues in tight corners and when you’re pushing it too hard. It will take the HR-V 2022 9.6 seconds to accelerate from zero to sixty miles per hour and 17.8 seconds to cover a quarter-mile at a top speed of 116 mph. The situation, however, is less than ideal.
2023 Honda HRV Release Date and Price
With Honda’s trim levels, you’ll get precisely what you see, as they don’t typically offer additional features (and what you pay). I’m mainly interested in the EX model because of the heated seats, keyless entry, and Honda Sensing. For the sake of saving $1,400, I’ll continue with the Honda HRV’s front-wheel drive. A $100 discount on my Sport tester, which I paid $23,620 for, is a deal. The EX may not have the most eye-catching design, but it more than makes up for its performance.
