2024 Honda Civic Coupe Release Date, Specs, Price

2024 Honda Civic Coupe Release Date, Specs, PriceBased on the beautifully well-rounded Civic Sedan, the Civic Coupe adds further flair to the range’s already extensive list of features. Much more than just a model, the Civic Coupe’s superb handling and optional six-speed manual transmission make it an intriguing driver’s vehicle. An optional 174-horsepower turbocharged engine additionally offers dynamic coupe performance.

Although the price to pay for the coupe body form is challenging access to the back seats and restricted headroom once you’re there, the sleek cabin is otherwise impossible to criticize, with comfortable seats and enough gadgets to keep most people content. Direct rivals are few and far between; Toyota’s 86 is comparable in size but less refined, more focused on driving thrills, and pricier. The BMW 2 Series coupes are a more luxurious (and considerably more costly) take on the tiny coupe concept. Therefore, the Civic Coupe looks to have a lot on its side and is a must-look if you don’t want the Civic Sedan’s better utility.

2024 Honda Civic Coupe Redesign

After multiple improvements last year, including introducing the popular Sport variant, Honda hasn’t made any substantial changes to the Civic Coupe for 2024. So, if you like to save some cash, an almost-new 2019 model is an exciting prospect. The last version of the Honda Civic has brought some much-needed flair, and the coupe is the most excellent representation. It’s a sleek, fast coupe with balanced proportions and enough stylistic touches to keep things interesting. All models feature alloy wheels that are either 16-, 17-, or 18 inches in size.

Sharing the same 106.3-inch wheelbase as the Civic Sedan, the coupe is otherwise shorter, 177.3 inches. The width is 70.9 inches, and the height is 54.9 inches. Having an even smaller coupe makes it even easier to weave through a set of turns. The curb weight ranges from 2,764 pounds for the LX trim to 2,937 pounds for the range-topping Touring model.

The 2024 Civic Coupe is the most upmarket Civic model ever, having the upper hand over its predecessors. The interiors of the 2024 Honda Civic Coupe have been created with a focus on driver and passenger comfort. The honeycomb design, with a horizontal motif, elegantly covers the AC vents and runs along the dash separating the infotainment and HVAC control, is genuinely eye-catching and adds additional space. The Civic Coupe accommodates five people, albeit a small rear center seat means that the back seat is better suited to just two. As predicted, a few concessions are to be made in the coupe for the advantage of its more elegant looks.

Ergonomics are enhanced with a more prominent center console containing two cubby holes, a wireless charging pad, and a leather-wrapped armrest. Although material quality is similar to the 2024 model, it is acceptable for this price point. The 2024 Civic’s interior was decent, but the 2024 model leaps ahead in design and usefulness.

The Civic Coupe line has two engines: a 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder with 158 horsepower and 139 lb-ft of torque on the LX and Sport trims 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with outputs of 174 hp and 162 lb-ft on the EX and Touring versions. Although the 2.0-liter engine feels quick enough for most requirements, you’ll want the turbo-four for its capacity to achieve 60 mph in under seven seconds and get the Civic up to speed with tremendous enthusiasm on the highway. A CVT automatic is standard on all versions except the Sport, which comes standard with a sweet-shifting six-speed manual. NEVERTHELESS, a CVT is available on the Sport as although it adds an engine dronedarone, the CVT improves the Civic’s economy and is smooth. Unfortunately, the more powerful engine can’t be matched with the six-speed manual; the combination would undoubtedly make for the ultimate Civic Coupe.

Date and Price of the 2024 Honda Civic Coupe
