2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid Price, Review, Gas Milea

2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid Price, Review, Gas Milea – For the past decade, the Honda CR-V, whether turbocharged or hybrid, has been the most popular midsize crossover SUV. For its spacious cabin, modern design, fun-to-drive nature, and fuel-efficient powertrains, the 2022 Honda CR-V maintains its high rankings and remains one of our top choices in the compact crossover class. This beautiful CR-V comes in a wide range of colors, including Crystal Black Pearl and Lunar Silver Metallic. There are also eight premium exterior color options, including Sonic Gray Pearl, Platinum White Pearl, etc.

Every CR-V Hybrid comes standard with an all-wheel drive. Aside from having a smaller cargo capacity and a more fantastic price, the CR-V Hybrid has all of the advantages of a conventionally powered CR-V, including generous seating, a long list of safety features, and smooth driving manners. Even though the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid gets better gas mileage, the Honda CR-V Hybrid is still a good choice.

Every CR-V model also comes with a comprehensive list of standard external features. The elements are an active shutter grille, a roofline spoiler, a fin-type roof-mounted antenna, and a remote access system. The EX trims have rear privacy glass, a security system, a power sunroof, LED fog lights, heated control side mirrors with turn signals, and a power sunroof if you want to look good. We prefer the EX trims.

While the entire Honda CR-V lineup received a facelift for the 2020 model year, the new-for-this-year Hybrid replaces paper napkins with cloth and has a few distinctive features that make it feel a little posher than the others. The new grille looks excellent with my tester’s LED headlights and the updated lower fascia, which includes some bright fog lights organized in a bar configuration on the Hybrid instead of the round ones on the normal CR-V.

Interior

The Honda CR-V comfortably accommodates five people and is equipped with a slew of cutting-edge technology and connections. The seats are incredibly comfortable, with plenty of legroom, knee, under-thigh support, and shoulder. Also, among the rivals, the 2022 CR-V has the most significant cargo space (up to 75.8 cubic feet), making it the most practical for small families.

The base LX model includes:
A standard air conditioning system.
Manually adjustable seats with no ventilation function.
A heating option.
Standard heated front seats for SE models and higher and a 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with two-position memory for a second driver are among the interior highlights. Leather upholstery is standard on higher versions, as are power-adjustable heated and ventilated seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Only the pricier levels get a moonroof, which makes the cabin feel less claustrophobic.

Engine

The heart of the CR-V Hybrid is tucked away beneath the body. It’s powered by the same Honda Accord’s two-motor hybrid system: The hybrid model’s 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle I4 gas engine combines a 1.4-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery and two electric motors to provide 212 horsepower and 232 pound-feet of torque, making it the most powerful CR-V in the garage. All-wheel drive is standard, and power is sent to all four wheels using an eCVT (electronic continuously variable gearbox), which isn’t technically a pulley-based continuously variable transmission because it includes a clutch to provide direct engine-to-drivetrain propulsion only under mild loads.

The 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid is rated at 40 mpg city and 35 mpg highway by the EPA, which are excellent figures for an all-wheel-drive crossover that, in my experience, is simple to accomplish even with the lightest foot on the pedal. By comparison, the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid gets 41 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway, while the Ford Escape Hybrid gets 43 mpg on the road and 37 in the town. However, in context, this Honda meal is still decent, just not as good as what’s offered at other places.

Price and Release Date of the Honda CR-V Hybrid in 2024

The Hybrid EX model of the 2022 CR-V Hybrid has a starting MSRP of $30,960, which is $2,700 more expensive than the non-hybrid CR-V, which we review separately. The Hybrid EX-L, which starts at $33,550, is followed by the Hybrid Touring, which costs $36,750. These rates do not include taxes, licensing, registration fees, and a $1,225 destination fee. The Honda CR-V Hybrid will cost more than $46,000 with all options and accessories. According to our analysis of the 2022 CR-V Hybrid, that’s a lot more than you should be paying, so opt for a sparsely optioned EX or EX-L or a used 2021 model.
