2024 Honda Passport Interior Colors, Gas Milea, PriceThe 2024 Honda Passport gets a much-needed facelift and now appears to be more challenging than ever. There’s also a new front and rear bumper. The new TrailSport variant offers improved off-road compatibility thanks to larger 18-inch wheels and tires, torque vectoring technology with AWD, and traction control for off-roading. The interior’s orange theme is enhanced by contrast stitching, orange ambient lighting, and the TrailSport logo on the seats.

The same 280-horsepower V6 engine will power all trims, which is neither fuel-efficient nor exciting to drive. On the different hand, it is easier to maintain and more trustworthy. Honda intends to expand the TrailSport trim’s options in the future, including a lift kit, all-terrain tires, and a selection of off-road accessories. All frames will have new looks, and AWD with advanced traction management will be an option for people who want to buy the car.

The Honda Passport 2024 has been redesigned.

The 2024 Honda Passport has been updated with a new front fascia and a chunkier grille. The LED headlamps are similar to the previous types, and they contain LED daytime running lights. The front bumper includes also been altered to appear more rugged and menacing. The car now has two fog lights built into the front bumper, giving it a sleeker look.

The TrailSport trim will have new bumpers, a new grille, and an orange TrailSport logo on the outside. It will also be equipped with TrailSport-specific knobby tires on 18-inch alloy wheels. All AWD models now have a ground clearance of 8.1 inches, making them better at going off-road.

Interior

Honda has beautifully designed the cabin. The roomy cabin of the Passport matches the sleek design of the dashboard, providing the feeling of space and luxury. When you enter the vehicle, it’s clear that it was built on a three-row platform; there’s plenty of room. When you first touch the car, it’s evident that Honda didn’t take any shortcuts, and all of the vehicle’s important touchpoints feel solid. It’s easy to get in and out, the visibility is excellent, and the driver and front-seat passenger have quick access to all major controls. Gray illumination and white needles are new for 2022 in the gauge cluster.

Honda has spared no expense regarding the materials used in the 2022 Passport. Leather upholstery is standard on all trim levels, with gray leather on the EX-L and Elite and black leather on the TrailSport. The EX-L will be offered in perforated leather with contrast stitching in 2022. The new TrailSport is distinguished by orange contrast stitching and an embroidered “TrailSport” emblem on the front headrests. The bottom two trims have silver trim inserts, while the upper two trims have black trim inserts.

Engine

A tried-and-true 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine with Honda’s i-VTEC variable valve timing technology powers the 2022 Honda Passport. A nine-speed automatic transmission sends 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque to the front wheels or all four axles. The Passport has the same setup as the Pilot, but it performs better and feels more agile around town due to its smaller size. On the highway, it will easily pass slower-moving automobiles. Even though the nine-speed automatic transmission was re-calibrated two years ago, it still seeks gears when immediate acceleration is necessary. Manual shifter paddles mounted on the steering column provide a more hands-on experience for those who want it.

The Honda Passport surprised us. We weren’t expecting much from a massive SUV with a large-capacity naturally aspirated V6 engine. According to the EPA, the SUV’s FWD configuration can get up to 20/25/22 mpg in city, highway, or combined mode. The mileage drops to 19/24/21 when all four wheels are powered. The Passport should be able to drive up to 429 miles per gallon with a 19.5-gallon gas tank before needing to refill. In our testing of the 2024 AWD model, we got 19 miles per gallon.
